Detailed Information

Description: Smokeear is a dark, blue-grey tom with a solid coat colour much like a Russian blue. His ears a half folded in towards his head, a sign of his Scottish fold ancestry, but it doesn't hinder his hearing at all. He has golden eyes, that stand out against his dark fur, making them the first thing most cats notice about him. He is rather scrawny, and is a little shorter than the average tom cat.

Positives:

Dedicated: Smokeear is very dedicated to his Clan, doing everything in his power to keep them safe and healthy. He is so dedicated that he would rather stay in camp to care for the sick than go to speak to StarClan at the time of the half moon. He is always out collecting herbs as soon as he notices that the supply is running low. 

Loyal: Smokeear is incredibly loyal to his Clan and would never abandon them. He is always there to do what he needs for his Clan and is always there to keep his Clan safe. Smokeear would never leave his Clan or go against the code in any way, shape or form.

Friendly: Smokeear is friendly and easy to approach. He is always willing to listen to another cats problems and takes care not to appear unapproachable to his Clan mates. He can communicate with cats of all ages due to his friendliness, but he can sometimes go a little overboard.

Negatives:

Obsessive Compulsive: Smokeear has to have everything in a certain place and if something is moved it freaks him out. He will then spend hours trying to find the missing herb and them spend even more time reorganizing the herbs storage so that he knows where everything is. While in this state it is almost impossible to talk to him until he has calmed himself down. He does not have a mental illness, he just likes having things in order.

Nervous:  Smokeear is incredibly nervous and unsure of himself while treating a large number of wounds. He tries to put on a brave face, but his voice will waver and shake the entire time he is working. He doesn't like talking to cats from other Clans, unless they are also Medics, as they make him feel even more nervous simply because they aren't from his Clan.

Scatter brained: While having multiple tasks to do, Smokeear will have trouble focusing on what he needs to be doing as his mind will often drift to the other tasks that he has to do. As a result he doesn't work very well under pressure and gets himself worked up. He will often start talking to himself in an effort to try to keep his thoughts on track, although this never really works out.

History:

Kitten (0-6 Moons)

Born an only kit to Goldeneye and Bluepelt, Smokekit was considered a mistake on his fathers part. The little tom grew up with very little interaction with his father, but always had the love of his mother to keep him going. It became apparent though, that his blue pelt, identical to his fathers, reminded Goldeneye too much of the mate who had abandoned her, causing her to slowly go into a depressed state. Smokekit at that point tried to reach out to other kittens in an effort to fill the void that was left by his absent father and now distant mother, but had a hard time going about it as he wasn't as strong as the other kittens in the Clan. During this time he came to the conclusion that he wasn't cut out to be a Warrior, and set his sights on becoming a Medic.

Trainee (6-13 Moons)

Smokepaw got his wish and was given the Clans Medic, Toadleap, as his Trainer. The young blue tom tried his best at everything he set out to do and found that he had a talent at identifying the different herbs and when they were best to be picked. Early in his training, his father was killed when he walked into a trap set by a group of coyotes. Smokepaw wasn't effected by his fathers death too much. He did take the time to mourn, but having known very little about the tom, he got over it rather quickly, focusing his energy on his training and his Clan mates. His mother on the other hand, suffered much more. The she-cat stopped eating, and no matter what anyone tried, she wouldn't eat and eventually died of starvation. 

In his grief, Smokepaw spent all his time working, focusing on organizing the herbs and keeping everything in order in the Medic's den. One day, the herbs were moved by another cats, who moved them is unknown, but when Smokepaw was unable to find the herb that he needed to give to an injured cat he freaked out and almost tore the den apart in his search for the herb. After he'd finished his with his lesson, the young tom spent the rest of the day cleaning up the den and making sure that everything was all in order. It became apparent at the moment that he had become obsessed with having a clean den where everything was easy to find and reach. 

The young tom continued to work hard in his training, still keeping his Trainee name while the others his age became Warriors. He didn't show any signs of caring, continuing to base his daily routine around his work and not paying attention to anything else. Despite his often unsettling behavior, cats still found him approachable due to his ability to speak to cats without scaring them off.

Medic (13-30 Moons)

When Smokepaw was named Smokeear by his Trainer, it was the proudest moment of his life. In his eyes, he had proved that he was good enough to take care of his Clan properly and was prepared to do whatever it took to keep them healthy, no matter the cost. Not too long after this, Toadleap fell sick, his immune system low in his old age. Smokeear did everything that he could to try and save his trainer, but sadly, Toadleap passed away after a long battle. Smokeear was devastated by the loss, but kept up a strong appearance for his Clan, knowing that he was the only Medic they had left now.
